This is the 4 hour in classroom course as required by Las Vegas Metro Police Dept.. Range qualification is additional time and range fees are your responsibility. Range qualification may be scheduled for a different time /day. All Students must complete the entire 4 hours and shoot the required score on a live fire range to receive the paperwork for Metro to apply for your permit. Taking this course and passing does not mean you will get your permit. You must pay Metro and get your fingerprints and picture taken and wait 120 days for a background check and Metro will send your permit or letter explaining why you were rejected. Renewals are the first 4 hours of the CCW course and require live fire qualification. Las Vegas Metro Police Department recommends renewals done 120days prior to CCW expiration date.
